Hello and happy weekend! A few things to mention:

Monday Bake Sales Need Contributions Thank you Katie, Nick, Dawn, Connie, and Tiana for providing treats for the Leadership class bake sale last Monday. The students are really enjoying the treats and getting used to the idea that it will be a regular Monday occurrence!

With that in mind, there are still a few open spots for tomorrow, Monday, March 9. Please sign up to bring some treats—store-bought or homemade, all are appreciated! Items can be dropped off at the Emerson front office any time between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM.

7th Grade Families — We Need You!

As our current 9th grade families prepare to move on, it’s time for the next group of Emerson parents to step into leadership roles within the PTA—and we would love to see some 7th grade families join the team!

There are many ways to help, especially in our communications department. If you enjoy working with website tools, writing short newsletter updates, posting on social media, or taking photos at school events, your skills would be incredibly valuable. These roles are flexible, collaborative, and a great way to stay connected to what’s happening at Emerson.

You can get involved by joining the Nominating Committee or by stepping into a 2026–2027 PTA Board position. The PTA will vote on next year’s board on Monday, April 20, 2026, and we would love to hear from you before then.

If you’ve ever thought about getting more involved, this is a great moment to step in. Please reach out and be part of helping our Emerson community thrive! Email board@emersonjrhighpta.com to get started.

PTA Meeting – Monday, March 16, 2026Join us in the Emerson Library at 6:00 PM. Learn more about the upcoming Auction and Open House, review spring teacher grant requests, and hear about ways you can support our students and staff.

The agenda and February meeting minutes are linked here for your review.
