Teacher Grant Program

We received 13 applications from 11 different programs and departments, totaling $10,966+ in grant requests. While we wish we could fund every request, we carefully evaluated each application, taking into account past funding and ensuring an even distribution across departments.

 

This Fall 2024, we are pleased to announce a total of $5,718 in funded grants!

Here's a summary of PTA-funded items by department:

• Mathematics: Replacement of an overhead projector to support interactive learning.

• Leadership: Bulk boxes of lollipops for student spirit and climate initiatives.

• Resource Program: Tools, supplies, and gift incentives to enhance student learning and engagement.

• Special Education: Laptop stand for improved functionality in supporting diverse learning needs.

• Counseling: Positive behavior and wellness supplies to support student well-being.

• Physical Education: 4 New pickleball nets to replace old equipment, encouraging safe and engaging physical activities.

• Science: Classroom supplies, including office and electronic scales, to aid in science experiments and data collection.

• Social Studies: Conference registration for three teachers, allowing them to bring fresh insights and techniques to the classroom.

• World Languages: Digital learning products to enhance language instruction,  Literacy tools, including books and subscriptions, to foster language learning and literacy development.

Teacher Grant MISSION: Grant requests may be made for past or future purchases, planned for the 2024-2025 academic year with the purpose to support ongoing classroom instruction, teacher creativity and student learning. This may include curriculum subscriptions and materials, classroom supplies and equipment and other tangible items (no gift certificates) which enhance the learning environment or provide a lasting and positive impact to both students and teachers.
