A huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped make the Emerson Open House & Auction such a success!

Thank you to everyone who attended, donated items, baked goods, or time, bid in the silent and live auctions, and participated in the raffle. This event truly takes a community, and we are so grateful for the incredible support shown for Emerson students and staff.

Now that the extended silent auction has closed, final numbers are still being tallied — but we are thrilled to share that we are well on our way to raising $15,000! 

What an amazing accomplishment for our Emerson community!

Avid Reader Fundraiser All Week! May 11-17th

The Avid Reader has graciously offered to donate 20% of all sales mentioning Emerson this week back to our school!

Whether you shop in-store (just mention Emerson at checkout) or online using our special link, you’ll be supporting both young readers and Emerson programs at the same time. Celebrate the end of Emerson’s Battle of the Books with a few great new reads!

The next two bake sales will support Emerson’s WEB Leader Program! May 18 and Jun 1, 2026

WEB (Where Everybody Belongs) leaders help incoming 7th graders feel welcomed, connected, and confident as they begin junior high. From the big summer orientation day to activities and mentorship throughout the school year, these student leaders work hard to make Emerson feel like home for everyone.

Last PTA Meeting — Monday, May 18, 2026

Please take a moment to review the agenda and April’s meeting minutes before attending.

At this meeting, we will vote on next year’s PTA Board, and member participation is critical. In order to conduct the vote, we must have at least 13 of our 80 members present either in person or online.

2026-2027 PTA Slate: Elected Positions

Treasurer –

Financial Reviewer – 

We especially need to fill the Treasurer position. In order for Emerson PTA to continue operating as a nonprofit organization next year, we must have — at minimum — a President, Secretary, and Treasurer in place.

If you have ever considered getting involved, now is the time. Please reach out to Brianne Leymaster if you are willing to help or would like to learn more about the Treasurer role and its time commitment.
