ABOUT EMERSON PTA

The Emerson Junior High PTA enriches our school learning environment by supporting each child’s education. We raise funds for annual teacher grants and school activities that benefit all students on our campus. During the 2019-20 school year we awarded $12,000 in grants for purchases such as:

  • PE Equipment

  • Choir and Band Equipment

  • Spanish Books

  • Library Furniture and Books

  • Software for English and Spanish classes

  • Improvement to outdoor leaning spaces


We also provide hospitality for the staff throughout the year and host the 9th grade send off ceremony.

The 2022-23 budget and spending plan will look a little different than it has in the past. As we navigate this year we invite all of you to join us as members and to join us at meetings. Check back here for links to our Association Meetings and please use our email to offer suggestions or feedback on our activities this year. To help your child’s school community continue to thrive, we need YOU, our extraordinary parents and guardians to get involved and give what you can. Everything we raise is used THIS YEAR to benefit your students and their classes.
