Community Corner
Announcement from International House Davis
The International Parent Community (IPC) is a free, volunteer-led group that connects international and local parents, helping them share experiences and navigate the U.S. school system. IPC meets on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of each month at I-House from 10:15–11:45 AM.
IPC also offers weekly conversation and cultural groups, including language practice (French, Spanish, English, Turkish) and music and dance classes (Latin Dance, Persian Drum, Turkish Folk Dancing). The first week is free to try, and membership options (monthly, quarterly, yearly) provide access to all groups, lounge space for casual meetups, and new lunch socials twice a month. Additionally, the English Practice Program pairs learners with native-speaking volunteers for flexible, one-on-one support.
